About the role

Geode Health is a rapidly growing, national provider of outpatient mental health services on a mission to transform mental health by making it more accessible, affordable, and effective. We are seeking passionate Advanced Practice Providers (Psychiatric PA or PMHNP) in the greater [geographic region] market to partner with us in delivering psychiatric healthcare services.

As a Behavioral Health Provider, you will provide psychiatric healthcare services, including initial mental health evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy based on patient needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial mental health evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management and supportive psychotherapy
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records using an EMR system
  • Utilize a measurement-based care approach to track outcomes and inform treatment plans
  • Collaborate with an integrated care team, including psychiatrists and mental health therapists, to coordinate care

Requirements

  • Active Psychiatric PA or PMHNP license in the state of [state]
  • Active DEA license
  • Active CDS (Illinois Providers only)
  • Passion for high-quality care and excellent clinical knowledge
  • Proficiency in using an EMR system
  • Ability to treat a general spectrum of mental health conditions

Geode highly prefers candidates with over one year of professional experience in an Advanced Practice Provider role, particularly in an outpatient setting.

Schedule

  • No nights, no weekends, no on-call
  • Hybrid work schedule: typically three days onsite and two days telehealth per week
  • Four-day work week is also possible
  • After-hours urgent support provided
  • More in-person time may be expected initially while building your patient caseload
