Mental Health Provider (Psychiatric PA or NP) - Mansfield, TX

About the role

Geode Health is a rapidly growing, national provider of outpatient mental health services. We are actively recruiting for passionate Advance Practice Providers (Psych PA or PMHNP) in the greater DFW market who can partner with us to achieve our mission of transforming mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric healthcare services, including initial mental health evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate.
• Participate in an integrated care team with a Psychiatrist and Mental Health Therapist to ensure coordination between medication management and psychotherapy.
• Manage a caseload of patients, balancing in-person and telehealth visits as needed.
• Use a measurement-based care approach to track outcomes and improve patient care.

Requirements

• Active Psychiatric PA or PMHNP license in the state of Texas.
• Active DEA license.
• Active CDS license (for Illinois Providers).
• Passion for high-quality care.
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• The desire and ability to see a general spectrum of mental health conditions.

Qualifications

• Over one year of professional work experience in an Advance Practice Provider role.
• Experience working in an outpatient setting preferred.
