About the role

The Mental Health Program Manager (MHPD) oversees and supervises residential programs that support individuals with challenging behavioral and mental health needs. Key responsibilities include supervising and training mental health specialists and ensuring the program's operations meet high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train mental health specialists
  • Ensure all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible
  • Be available for emergencies
  • Ensure all direct service shifts are covered by qualified staff
  • May occasionally work direct service shifts, but should not exceed 16 hours per week without prior approval

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience supervising programs for people with behavioral and serious persistent mental health needs
  • A four-year degree in behavioral science or related field, preferred
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Current auto liability insurance with reliable transportation
  • Designated Manager status per 245D licensing

Pay

Starting salary range: $65,000.00 - $66,787.50 annually

Schedule

Full-time organizational position with flexible scheduling to accommodate various program, individuals, and staff needs. Always on-call unless prior arrangements have been made for someone of comparable authority to receive emergency calls.
