Mental Health Professional - BHC Social Work Services - Part Time - 8 Hour - Days
About the role
The Mental Health Professional is the primary inpatient psychiatric clinician providing acute care and treatment as part of an integrated treatment team led by the attending physician. The role involves caring for and coordinating assigned patients and families, regular liaison with the treatment team, conducting psychosocial assessments, individual and family sessions, group therapy, safety planning, discharge planning, aftercare follow-up, and liaising with community agencies as needed.

Requirements
- Master's Degree - Required
- 1 year Behavioral Health - Inpatient or Residential Treatment - Required
- Effective 1/1/2007, LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker - CA Board of Behavioral Sciences is required. See below for the waiver approved through May 2026.
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
- ACSW Associate Clinical Social Worker OR AMFT Associate Marriage and Family Therapist - California Board of Behavioral Science - Required
- CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training - Required within 30-days of hire and renewal annually or within 30-days of return from a leave of absence
Qualifications
- Education: Master's Degree - Required
- Experience: 1 year Behavioral Health - Inpatient or Residential Treatment - Required

Pay
Pay Range: $55.27 - $76.50 Hourly
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
