Mental Health Nurses [Casual cover]
About the role
He Tawharau is an exciting mental health innovation in Heretaunga for the care of whānau experiencing mental distress. This service is managed by Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga in collaboration with our service partners Te Whatu Ora, MSD and Police to provide whanau centric care, where the needs of the whanau are at the centre of the model of care for the service. Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a health and social services provider, supporting our local community in Hawkes Bay. We are a values-based organisation who thread our cultural values of Whakamana, Kaitiakitanga, Whanaungatanga and Kotahitanga through everything we do. We are there to provide short term care and clinical support to whānau as they continue on their wellness journey. This is a 6 bed Crisis Respite service. Providing 24/7 care, we have 12 hour shift rosters [am and pm] with a MH Nurse and MH Kaimanaaki working together on each shift.
