Mental Health Nurse - Full Time Nights

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities to deliver safe, quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Educating patients and families
• Promoting safety and regulatory compliance
• Developing individualized care plans
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred
• No experience required; less than 2 years preferred for advanced roles
• Strong critical nursing skills and ability to work in an alert, safe manner
• Preferred: BSN and experience in emergency or mental health nursing
