Role Overview
Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities to deliver safe, quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Educating patients and families
- Promoting safety and regulatory compliance
- Developing individualized care plans
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs
Qualifications
- Licensed RN with Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred
- No experience required; less than 2 years preferred for advanced roles
- Strong critical nursing skills and ability to work in an alert, safe manner
- Preferred: BSN and experience in emergency or mental health nursing
