About the role
The LVN/LPT will provide direct client care, including medication administration and supervising the nursing activities of unit staff.
Responsibilities
- Order, prepare, and document medications according to physician orders and confirm pharmacy deliveries.
- Communicate important information to the team.
- Write weekly client summaries as assigned.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation throughout the shift.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Requirements
- Active, valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license.
- Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience with medication administration (Required).
- One (1) year of experience treating individuals with mental illness in an inpatient setting (Preferred).
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Current CPR certification.
- First Aid certification from an approved provider (such as the American Red Cross).
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of mental health and crisis intervention techniques.

$30.00 - $35.00 USD Per Hour
Schedule
Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
