Mental Health Crisis Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid response, assessment, and intervention for behavioral health emergencies
• Conduct suicide and safety risk assessments
• De‑escalate crises using trauma‑informed techniques
• Create immediate safety and follow‑up plans
• Coordinate referrals to behavioral health, housing, and social services
• Document all contacts in electronic health records
• Collaborate with hospitals, law enforcement, and community partners

• Knowledge of trauma‑informed care and safety assessment
