About the role
We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Adams & Juneau Counties.
Responsibilities
- Responding to crisis calls and conducting mobile crisis interventions
- Performing risk assessments and determining appropriate interventions
- Providing brief crisis counseling and follow-up services
- Meeting clients in various community settings and responding to emergencies
- Gathering information, assessing client needs, and connecting to resources
- Maintaining partnerships with law enforcement, courts, and community agencies
- Documenting client interactions per regulations and identifying service gaps
- Staying informed on relevant laws and best practices
- Supporting organizational mission and performing additional duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
- One+ year of mental health client experience preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and legal statutes
- Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to respond within an hour
