Mental Health Crisis Worker - $26/hr + Shift Stipend

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Adams & Juneau Counties.

Responsibilities

• Responding to crisis calls and conducting mobile crisis interventions
• Performing risk assessments and determining appropriate interventions
• Providing brief crisis counseling and follow-up services
• Meeting clients in various community settings and responding to emergencies
• Gathering information, assessing client needs, and connecting to resources
• Maintaining partnerships with law enforcement, courts, and community agencies
• Documenting client interactions per regulations and identifying service gaps
• Staying informed on relevant laws and best practices
• Supporting organizational mission and performing additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
• One+ year of mental health client experience preferred
• Knowledge of community resources and legal statutes
• Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to respond within an hour
