Mental Health Counselor - Per Diem

About the role

We are seeking a Mental Health Counselor to support clinical programming at a Crisis Recovery Center, providing patient-centered, whole-person care within an inclusive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapy (individual, family, group, and milieu).
• Deliver client, family, peer, and community education.
• Coordinate services with healthcare professionals, such as physicians or ARNPs, to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related health field.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Professional Counselor License (LPC), Psychological Associate License (LPA), or Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) upon hire.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.

Pay

$37.84 – $58.75 per hour, with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials or bonuses.

Schedule

Per diem with variable shifts.
