Mental Health Counselor - Group Living Environment

About the role

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Mental Health Counselor to join our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) program. This position works in Group Living Environments (GLE's), providing guidance, education, and support to adults on their path to recovery.

Responsibilities

• Partner with residents to help achieve personal goals
• Offer daily living support and encourage self-advocacy
• Develop essential life skills and foster community involvement
• Create a safe, supportive environment for residents
• Collaborate with a team to promote mutual learning and growth

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• One year of related experience or a bachelor's degree preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Recovery model, dual diagnosis, and/or addictions experience a plus

Pay

$21.37/hour

Schedule

Full Time, 40 hours per week. Specific shifts include:

• Sunday 7am to 3pm
• Monday 2pm to 10pm
• Tuesday 10am to 6pm
• Wednesday 7am to 3pm
• Thursday 2pm to 10pm
