About the role

We are hiring a Senior Mental Health Counselor to support clinical programming at a Crisis Recovery Center. The role involves providing direct client care including assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, group, and milieu therapy. The counselor will assist in developing standards of practice, quality services, and new programs, while mentoring other clinicians and engaging in consultation, education, and community outreach. Key responsibilities also include coordinating services with healthcare professionals, maintaining current knowledge in specialty areas, and promoting program goals aligned with organizational values. The position is on-site in Anchorage, AK.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct client care: assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and milieu therapy

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience
  • Alaska licensure as a Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist
