About the role
We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Counselor to provide comprehensive clinical services at a Crisis Recovery Center, including assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, group, and milieu therapy. The counselor will support program development, maintain standards of practice, and act as a resource for other clinicians through consultation, education, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapy (individual, family, group, and milieu).
- Support program development and maintain standards of professional practice.
- Act as a resource for other clinicians through consultation, education, and mentorship.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Educate clients, families, and communities on mental health topics.
- Support program goals while modeling organizational values.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related health field.
- At least 5 years of clinical experience.
- Alaska licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist.
Pay
$40.11 to $62.27 per hour, with potential additional incentives.
Schedule
Full-time hours across multiple shifts.
