About the role
We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Counselor to support clinical programming at a Crisis Stabilization Center.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct client care through assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy, and milieu therapy.
- Supporting development and maintenance of standards, quality services, and new programs.
- Serving as a resource for clinicians, offering consultation, education, and mentorship.
- Coordinating services with healthcare professionals and educating clients, families, and communities.
- Following individualized performance plans to maintain clinical competence and support program goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Alaska licensure in social work, counseling, marriage & family therapy, or psychology upon hire.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
