About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Counselor to support clinical programming at a Crisis Stabilization Center.

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct client care through assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy, and milieu therapy.
  • Supporting development and maintenance of standards, quality services, and new programs.
  • Serving as a resource for clinicians, offering consultation, education, and mentorship.
  • Coordinating services with healthcare professionals and educating clients, families, and communities.
  • Following individualized performance plans to maintain clinical competence and support program goals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Alaska licensure in social work, counseling, marriage & family therapy, or psychology upon hire.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.

This role requires advanced clinical skills, collaboration, and a commitment to high-quality care within a team-driven, mission-focused environment.
