Mental Health Associate (Inpatient Behavioral Health) - Princeton, NJ - Part Time (Day Shift)
About the Role
Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a part‑time Mental Health Associate to work the day shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH), Wing 5 (Involuntary Psych/Committed Unit) with 20+ beds. Location: Princeton House Behavioral Health, 905 Herrontown Road, Princeton, NJ. Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients.
- Participate as a member of the treatment team in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
Schedule
- 2–3 evening shifts per week (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Every other weekend required
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (required)
- Social Science specialization (preferred)
Licensure & Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire
- Valid driver’s license required
Pay
Hourly range: $18.11 – $28.86. The specific rate offered will consider experience and education.
