Mental Health Associate (Inpatient Behavioral Health) - Princeton, NJ - Per Diem (Evening Shift)

About the Role

Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full time mental health associate to work the evening shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH). This position is within Wing 6 (Voluntary Psych/Dual diagnosis for psych) with 28 beds. We understand the unique recovery challenges of people with co-occurring disorders and treat both conditions at the same time. That's why people with both a mental health and substance use disorder receive specialized care at Princeton House. Outcomes show that this approach reduces the risk of relapse and improves the chances of long-term recovery.

Location: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton NJ).

Responsibilities

• Assists Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients.
• Participates as a member of the treatment team in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.

Schedule

• Evening shift: 3PM–11:30PM.
• Required to work three weekend shifts per 6 week schedule. Must include one consecutive weekend (Saturday/Sunday).

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Science (required).
• Social Science specialization preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license required.

Pay

• $18.11 – $28.86/Hourly.
