About the role
The Waterford at Decatur is a premier retirement community in Decatur, GA, providing quality care to residents in a memory care community.
Responsibilities
- To assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming.
- To help make beds and empty trash.
- To monitor and assist with medication provision following standards established facility policies and procedures.
- To properly document medication provision, services delivered and, if appropriate, resident condition.
- To follow instructions given by supervisor and communicate with supervisor on resident health questions/concerns as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be licensed or certified by the operating state to administer medications through a QMA, CMA, or state required med passing certification and must maintain current and unencumbered certifications.
- CPR certified and/or first aid certified preferred.
