About the Role

The Waterford at Decatur, a premier retirement community in Decatur, GA, provides quality care to residents in a memory care community.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming.
• Help make beds and empty trash.
• Monitor and assist with medication provision following standards established by facility policies and procedures.
• Properly document medication provision, services delivered, and, if appropriate, resident condition.
• Follow instructions given by supervisor and communicate with supervisor on resident health questions/concerns as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified by the operating state to administer medications through a QMA, CMA, or state-required medication-passing certification and must maintain current and unencumbered certifications.
• CPR certified and/or first aid certified preferred.
