Memory Care Caregiver CNA Required

About the role

Solera Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Caregiver at Modena Green Oaks. The position requires current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and changing bed linens.
• Support residents in attending meals, activities, appointments, and other scheduled events, including assisting with walkers, pushing wheelchairs, and monitoring daily schedules.
• Accurately document care provided, complete shift summaries, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Annual flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions considered).
• Dependable and reliable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to make sound, independent decisions, including in stressful situations.
• Caring, respectful, and professional interactions with residents, families, team members, and the public.
• Genuine concern for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of older adults and their families.
