About the role

Apart from 2+ years of facility experience, candidates should be passionate about memory care. Brookdale is Roanoke’s trusted Memory Care expert with 25+ years of service. The position offers a shift differential of $2.50 for Evening and Night Shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to seniors, including dining and personal care needs.
• Check in with residents and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as showers, bathroom assistance, and dressing/grooming.
• Give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.

Requirements

• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required.
• Maintain certification.

Qualifications

• Passionate about memory care.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and excellent care.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

Pay

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience.

Schedule

Part-time position with flexible schedules to accommodate personal and professional commitments.
