Full Time Salary exempt position available. Sunday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Starting at $45,000/year; higher pay based on experience.

Scope of Supervision

• Supervises Connections Associates and other Associates participation in Connections activities.
• May serve as the Community Life Team Leader.
• Liaisons with all other Members of the Leadership Team.
• Provides guidance, direction and training to Resident Associates regarding Connections implementation.
• Serves as Manager on Duty as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures resident safety at all times.
• Embraces Culture Change and resident-centered philosophies.
• Ensures compliance with documentation and record keeping to meet current regulatory compliance standards.
• Completion of interest and participation assessments on admission and quarterly thereafter.
• Prepare and update a Connections Plan for each resident within 7 days of admission and quarterly thereafter.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Connections program of the community.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma required; a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or another related field is preferred.
• Certification as Professional is required.
• Previous management experience in healthcare or service-related setting.
• Computer literate.
• Must have a valid State Drivers License with appropriate CDL class.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
• Experience in program design, planning and implementation is desired.
