Memory Care Activity Director

Responsibilities

• Ensures resident safety at all times.
• Embraces Culture Change and resident-centered philosophies.
• Ensures compliance with documentation and record keeping to meet current regulatory compliance standards.
• Completes interest and participation assessments on admission and quarterly thereafter.
• Prepares and updates a Connections Plan for each resident within 7 days of admission and quarterly thereafter.
• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the Connections program of the community.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma, a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or another related field is preferred.
• Certification as Professional is required.
• Previous management experience in healthcare or service-related setting.
• Computer literate.
• Must have a valid State Drivers License with appropriate CDL class.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
• Experience in program design, planning and implementation is desired.

Pay

Starting at $45,000 year; higher pay based on experience.

Schedule

Sunday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
