About the role

Join United Defense Tactical (UDT), a world-class firearms training facility in North Scottsdale, as a Member Services Associate. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service, keep our cutting-edge facility running smoothly, and champion our mission of empowering civilians, military, and law enforcement through reality-based tactical training. Responsibilities

• Greet every visitor—whether in person, by phone, or email—with warmth and positivity, handling inquiries, complaints, and requests while upholding our “Serve selflessly with the highest integrity” value.
• Manage front desk operations, including directing customers to training areas, managing check-ins/outs, and maintaining a clean, organized space.
• Update customer records, process reservations and billing with precision, and handle administrative tasks like scanning and filing.
• Welcome a diverse crowd—from civilians to professionals—and answer questions about handgun, rifle, and shotgun programs to support their training journey.
• Bring high energy and enthusiasm to empower customers as they build skills and confidence in self-defense.
• Welcome customers and guide them to the right department or person.
• Answer calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Keep the front desk area tidy, stocked, and organized.
• Process inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate when needed.
• Check customers in/out, ensuring accurate reservations and billing.
• Maintain and update customer records in our database.
• Coordinate with team members to meet customer needs seamlessly.
• Handle clerical tasks (photocopying, scanning, filing) with care.
• Uphold UDT policies and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of customer service or receptionist experience (e.g., gym desks, tactical ranges, or busy offices).
• Top-notch communication and multitasking skills for a bustling environment.
• Comfort with tools like Canva, Go High Level, Meta, Microsoft Office/Google Suite, and office equipment (computer, scanner, etc.).
• A positive, proactive attitude—bonus if you’re passionate about firearms or self-defense.
• Availability for 8-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends (flexible scheduling offered).

Pay

Competitive pay range of $18.50–$23.00 per hour.
