About the role
As a Member Service Representative I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members through phone, email, and in-person interactions. You will assist members with account inquiries, transfers, and other financial transactions.Responsibilities
- Handle member inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Process member account requests including transfers, payments, and balance inquiries.
- Ensure accurate and timely resolution of member issues.
- Provide educational assistance on financial products and services.
- Follow up with members to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a customer service role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications
- Experience in a financial services environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of credit union operations and policies is beneficial.
