What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Qualifications:
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and online tools.
- Experience with banking software is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to explain financial products in a clear, accessible way.
- Must be service-oriented and willing to educate members on products and services that will benefit their financial well-being.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and be detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-Oriented: Collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to a positive, member-focused team.
- Must be able to travel within the credit union's footprint based on business needs.
- Preferred Skills:
- Sales Skills: Ability to recommend products and services based on member needs.
- Banking Experience: 2 years in member service and/or teller area of a credit union or other financial institution.
- Loan Processing: Understanding of loan origination, underwriting, and documentation.
