About the role
The Colorado Intergovernmental Risk Sharing Agency (CIRSA) seeks a Member Recruitment and Retention Specialist. The ideal candidate should have a background in member engagement and insurance industry experience, particularly in the self-insurance pooling sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to recruit new members and retain existing ones.
- Manage member communications and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance member satisfaction and retention rates.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new member opportunities.
- Prepare and present reports on member recruitment and retention activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in member relations or similar field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with data analysis and report writing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, especially in the self-insurance pooling sector.

- Ability to travel within Colorado approximately 40% of the time.
