About the role
The role of Member Benefit Specialist involves providing exceptional customer service to members, processing benefit enrollments and changes, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Handle member inquiries regarding benefits enrollment and changes
- Process new enrollments and changes in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and documentation
- Provide proactive support to members to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements related to benefits administration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in benefits administration or customer service
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Knowledge of healthcare benefits and insurance systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with benefits administration software
