Member Experience Manager
Pay: $40,000 - $42,000/year (DOE)
About the Role
The Member Experience Manager is responsible for growing and supporting Girl Scout membership throughout the East Central Wyoming region. This role combines community outreach, volunteer management, membership growth, program coordination, and relationship-building to ensure girls and volunteers have a positive and successful Girl Scout experience. Working closely with volunteers, schools, community organizations, and families, this position develops and implements strategies that increase membership, strengthen retention, and expand access to Girl Scout opportunities. The Member Experience Manager serves as both a coach and resource for troop leaders while cultivating partnerships that help bring the Girl Scout experience to more girls across the region.
Frequent travel within the East Central Wyoming region is required. This position includes regular time out in the community and may include outdoor, hands-on, and STEM-focused activities.
Responsibilities
- Membership Growth & Recruitment
- Develop and implement year-round membership recruitment strategies
- Identify and engage new communities, schools, and organizations to expand Girl Scout participation
- Meet established membership and retention goals for both girls and adult volunteers
- Conduct outreach activities, presentations, and recruitment events throughout the East Central Wyoming region
- Analyze local trends and identify opportunities for membership growth
- Volunteer Recruitment & Support
- Recruit, onboard, train, and support adult volunteers and troop leaders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for troop leaders within your region
- Provide coaching, problem-solving, and ongoing support to volunteers
- Connect volunteers with resources, training, and leadership development opportunities
- Monitor volunteer engagement and identify strategies to improve retention and satisfaction
- Community Partnerships & Outreach
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders
- Develop partnerships that increase awareness of Girl Scouts and expand access to programming
- Represent GSMW at community events, networking opportunities, and outreach activities
- Identify innovative opportunities for collaboration and community engagement
- Strategic Planning & Service Delivery
- Implement and assess membership support strategies across assigned regions
- Track performance metrics and evaluate effectiveness of recruitment and retention efforts
- Recommend improvements and innovative approaches to better serve girls and volunteers
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to membership and volunteer engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, prior experience in sales, marketing, community relations, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Office products preferred
- Valid driver’s license required with clean driving record
- Previous non-profit experience preferred
