About the role

This job collaborates with Sales Client Management and the Sales Executive team. The position develops member transition strategies to steer the transition of members to AHN and community providers; thereby minimizing future member disruption. This position educates members about insurance benefits, healthcare choices, provider/service options, and the importance of getting the right care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the most appropriate type of provider for members' unique needs and ensure they are fully informed of tools and resources.
  • Assist members in transferring medical records, making appointments, and resolving claim or billing issues.
  • Provide education on access to comprehensive clinical care and the quality of care provided by partner network providers.
  • Engage members in medical care from higher quality, more cost-effective providers closer to their homes.
  • Create new and innovative opportunities for members to interact with patient-focused providers and experience quality care firsthand.
  • Showcase the latest developments in quality of care and the results of investments from AHN and community partner providers.
  • Demonstrate business acumen by partnering with the Organization's Sales team and executing strategies to influence member buying decisions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies with the Organization's Sales Team to increase enrollment and profitability for HMIG products and other supplemental lines of coverage.
  • Identify and research operational issues based on member/client feedback and transition details, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Drive changes in member behaviors by developing strategies that influence change and create action from benefit executives and individual members.
  • Work effectively in a matrix environment, juggle competing priorities, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Communicate and influence member buying decisions at enrollment events and in sales situations.
  • Participate in the development of sales strategies and execute them to increase profitability for HMIG products and other lines of coverage.
  • Manage travel requirements as needed.

Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Preferred: 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Experience

  • Required: 3 years of prior sales or client consulting experience, preferably in the Insurance industry.

Pay

Minimum $25.02, Maximum $38.76
