Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for planning and managing patient care tailored to individual needs. They serve as the eyes and ears of Registered Nurses and Physicians, performing ongoing assessments of vital signs and patient conditions.

• Administering and monitoring medications and dressing changes
• Supervising nursing assistants and leading a team of nurses
• Identifying and resolving patient care issues within the care plan
• Administering intravenous medications and fluids, managing IV lines

• Appropriate licensure as an LPN
