Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support in a MedSurg environment.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses effectively.
- Absorb and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Educate patients and families on health management and care.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
- Support a positive team environment focused on achieving targets.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
- Experience in MedSurg nursing preferred.
- Ability to monitor and interpret vital signs accurately.
- Willingness to engage in performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
- Knowledge of safety and health regulations in patient care.
- Ability to educate patients and families on health management.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Pay
$1,350 - $1,450 per week
Schedule
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
