Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care under RN/physician supervision, including administering medications, monitoring vitals, wound care, triaging/rooming patients within 15 minutes, and performing treatments.
- Accurately document patient info, vitals, interventions, and medication administration with 100% compliance. Collect, label, and log specimens (blood, biopsy) with zero tolerance for error.
- Clean and stock exam rooms between sessions, maintain supply par levels, and sterilize equipment via autoclave.
- Partner with the healthcare team to escalate issues, facilitate discharge, and teach patients/families regarding care management.
- Provides direct care for a specific patient population.
- Administers medications and treatments.
- Provides patient & family teaching and discharge instructions.
Requirements
- NY LPN License & Registration
- BLS Card and Infection Control Certification
- High School/GED minimum
Schedule
Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay
$38.99 per hour. For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.
