About the role

Frye Regional Medical Center is a 355-bed acute care facility part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare network. As a Medication Reconciliation Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the registered pharmacist and ensuring accurate medication reconciliation for inpatients.

Responsibilities

  • Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance, and support for the registered pharmacist.
  • Collections accurate home medications lists for all inpatients.
  • Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
  • Fills medication carts on a daily basis.
  • Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
  • Repackages bulk medications.
  • Collects accurate home medications lists for all inpatients.
  • Delivers medication to the proper patient care areas in an accurate and timely manner and within established guidelines.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered with the State Board of Pharmacy upon hire or within 30 days of employment in position per state guidelines or actively enrolled in a College of Pharmacy.
  • PTCB certification required.

  • Commensurate with experience.

Schedule

  • PRN (as needed role) with flexible hours that include weekends and holidays.
