About the role

The Medication Aide will safely and accurately administer medications to residents/patients as directed by licensed nursing staff or physicians, under direct supervision, while adhering to protocols and promoting well-being. Responsibilities include preparing and administering prescribed oral, topical, and non-injectable medications, meticulously verifying the five rights, maintaining accurate medication records, ensuring proper storage and security, and assisting with activities of daily living as needed.

Requirements

- Minimum of three years’ experience required in a similar position or related field. - Medication Aide: NE, upon hire.

Pay

The posted compensation range is $16.83 - $23.77 /hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Schedule

Full-time position, 64 hours per week, Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM). Shift: Day. Remote: No.
