Medical Waste/Trash Bins Loader - 3rd Shift 11PM to 7AM

About the role

As a Loader/Unloader at Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility, you will check in containers, double‑check paperwork, move and unload specific waste containers, and operate a forklift to load an autoclave. Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is a healthcare service company providing safety systems and medical waste collection for hospitals, medical centers, surgical centers, nursing homes and other healthcare customers, focused on delivering quality and safety‑focused medical waste management that reduces needlestick injuries, improves infection control and lessens environmental burden.

Responsibilities

• Lift 55‑lb bins and push a four‑wheeled cart that can weigh up to 200 lb
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
• Load and operate the autoclave machine (pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
• Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Work well as part of a team

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
• Previous experience in a warehouse labor‑intensive job involving repetitive lifting of 50‑75 lb containers
• Willingness to take a 5‑panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7‑year background check
• Basic math skills and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
• Proven longevity with previous employers
• Can‑do attitude
