Medical Waste Worker - 3rd Shift 10:30PM to 7AM
About the role
Loader/Unloader at our Daniels medical-waste treatment facility in Baltimore, MD. The role involves loading and unloading containers, emptying and washing containers, weighing and checking in containers, and operating treatment equipment.

Responsibilities
- Lift containers up to 55 lbs and push four-wheeled carts weighing up to 200 lbs
- Weigh incoming sharps and medical-waste containers
- Load and operate the autoclave machine (a pressure chamber that melts materials)
- Load the Washsmart container-washing and sanitization system
- Complete required paperwork with attention to detail
- Stand comfortably for extended periods
- Work effectively as part of a team
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous experience in a warehouse or labor-intensive job involving repetitive lifting of 50–75 lb containers
- Basic math skills and ability to read and record weights accurately
- Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
- Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
- Proven longevity with previous employers
- Positive, can-do attitude
