Medical Waste Operator - 3rd Shift 10:30PM to 7AM
About the role
We are hiring a Loader/Unloader for our medical-waste treatment facility at 6611 Chandlery St, Baltimore, MD 21224. The role involves loading and unloading containers, emptying and washing them, weighing incoming shipments, and operating treatment equipment.

Responsibilities
- Lift containers weighing up to 55 lbs and push four-wheeled carts up to 200 lbs
- Weigh incoming sharps and medical-waste containers
- Load and operate the autoclave machine (a pressure chamber that melts materials)
- Load the Washsmart container-washing and sanitization system
- Complete accurate paperwork for container processing
- Stand for extended periods while wearing PPE
- Work collaboratively with the team
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous warehouse or labor-intensive experience, including repetitive lifting of 50–75 lb containers
- Basic math skills and ability to read and record weights accurately
- Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
- Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and wear PPE
- Proven employment longevity and a can-do attitude
