Medical Telemetry Nurse - Night Shift

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in a Medical Telemetry unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, ensuring clear communication across care teams.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Maintain safety awareness and adhere to safety protocols, as this is a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No minimum experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
