Medical Telemetry Nurse - Night Shift
Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care in a telemetry unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Maintains a safe working environment, adhering to safety-sensitive protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- RN licensure required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred
- Telemetry experience is preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism
