About the role
We are seeking a Medical Technologist PRN responsible for performing accurate and timely laboratory tests to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct approved laboratory procedures within licensed areas, demonstrating technical expertise.
- Exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision and interpret results.
- Ensure quality control, document corrective actions, and maintain compliance with policies.
- Perform daily equipment maintenance, manage supplies, and practice infection control.
Qualifications
- Current registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technologist by ASCP.
- Certification eligibility or Technician certification as per GDHR requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field, with NAACLS accreditation preferred.
- Preferred hospital laboratory experience.
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret laboratory results accurately.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and adhere to compliance standards.
- Efficient organization of workload.
