Medical Technologist PRN

Role Overview

The Medical Technologist PRN performs routine and complex laboratory tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in various laboratory sections.
• Ensure accurate results across hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, and microbiology.
• Maintain quality control by running standards, calibrating equipment, verifying equipment function, and monitoring protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in laboratory or related science, or certification via CLIA 88.
• Certification as MT (ASCP), CLS (NCA), MLS (ASCP), or equivalent; registry/certification must be obtained within one year if eligible.
• Experience preferred.
