Medical Technologist- Per Diem

Part-time, per diem position with rotating weekends and holidays on the day shift.

Responsibilities

  • Train and certify clinical staff on POCT devices
  • Maintain quality control, documentation, and compliance with CAP, CLIA and Joint Commission
  • Oversee instrument performance, troubleshooting and vendor relations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field required
  • 2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience; POCT experience preferred
  • Master’s or doctorate in chemistry, biology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, allied health, clinical laboratory sciences or an appropriately related field (preferred)
  • Possess or be eligible for Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP
  • With Bachelor's: MT (ASCP) certification or eligible
  • Certified as MT (HEW) or MT (AMT)

Qualifications

  • ASCP certification preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
