Medical Technologist- Per Diem

Part-time, per diem position with rotating weekends and holidays on the day shift.
Responsibilities
- Train and certify clinical staff on POCT devices
- Maintain quality control, documentation, and compliance with CAP, CLIA and Joint Commission
- Oversee instrument performance, troubleshooting and vendor relations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field required
- 2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience; POCT experience preferred
- Master’s or doctorate in chemistry, biology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, allied health, clinical laboratory sciences or an appropriately related field (preferred)
- Possess or be eligible for Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP
- With Bachelor's: MT (ASCP) certification or eligible
- Certified as MT (HEW) or MT (AMT)
Qualifications
- ASCP certification preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
