Medical Technologist- Per Diem

About the Role
Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Medical Technologist to support our clinical laboratory. This position involves rotating day shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Train and certify clinical staff on POCT (Point-of-Care Testing) devices
- Maintain quality control, documentation, and compliance with CAP, CLIA, and Joint Commission standards
- Oversee instrument performance, troubleshooting, and vendor relations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field (required)
- 2–3 years of clinical laboratory experience; POCT experience preferred
- ASCP certification or eligibility (preferred)
- Possess or be eligible for Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP
- Certification as MT (ASCP), MT (HEW), or MT (AMT)
Master’s or doctorate in chemistry, biology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, allied health, clinical laboratory sciences, or a related field (preferred).
