Medical Technologist- On Call
About the role
The Medical Technologist position at MultiCare involves performing patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, data analysis, results reporting, instrument maintenance, and technical problem resolution. This role requires a service-committed individual with a strong background in medical technology or sciences.
Responsibilities
- Receive specimens, establish and maintain positive identification of specimens
- Determine suitability of specimen
- Acquire/prepare reagents as needed
- Perform instrument maintenance and calibration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Sciences (required)
- Master’s degree in Medical Technology (preferred)
- Certification for Medical Technologist, MLS (ASCP), or MT (ASCP), or AMT or MT (AAB) (required)
- Specialist Certification in discipline (preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay scale is $39.14 - $62.07 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, and certifications. For union contracts, pay scales reflect appropriate steps based on years of experience.
