Medical Surgical RN (Full-Time, Night Shift)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and quality compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans, communicates effectively across care teams, and assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and barriers. Maintains a safety-sensitive role requiring constant alertness.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with pre-op and post-op care, including recovery and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication administration.
• Participate in professional development and regulatory activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Requires a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree and an active RN license.
• No prior experience needed; however, a Bachelor's degree and less than 2 years of experience are preferred.

Schedule

This is a full-time night position.
