Medical SUpply Account Manaager (MSAM)
Job Purpose
Maintains relationships, takes orders from existing customers, and secures new customers by calling or visiting prospects in the Urologic landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Secures orders from existing and potential customers by visiting customer facilities and similar accounts.
- Secures opportunities to quote on customer requirements.
- Follows up on customer inquiries and patient needs.
- Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with relevant personnel.
- Submits activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and issues related to customer/vendor relationships.
- Performs all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.
- Prepares lost business and territory sales forecast reports.
- Maintains productivity and performance standards, including staying informed about funding requirements and technological advancements in the Urological Supply industry.
Required Qualifications, Skills, And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in outside Urological or related sales is required.
- Experience calling on complex rehab centers, spina bifida centers, hospitals/hospital systems, and urological specialists/centers is required.
- Manages difficult or emotional customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs, solicits customer feedback, and meets commitments.
- Focuses on solving conflicts, maintains confidentiality, listens attentively, keeps emotions under control, and seeks out others' ideas.
- Understands business implications of decisions, displays an orientation to profitability, adapts to changes, manages competing demands, and deals with unexpected events.
- Works within approved budgets, develops and implements cost-saving measures, contributes to profits and revenue, and conserves organizational resources.
