Position Summary

The Mammography Scheduler schedules mammography and DEXA appointments at multiple Charlotte Radiology facilities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Schedule mammography and DEXA appointments.
  • Provides information to the patient, in regard to anniversary dates and proper recommendation for return.
  • Coverage at multiple facilities.
  • Works closely with the authorization department ensuring efficiency.
  • Maintain effective communication with Special Accounts.
  • Maintain effective record and data base information.

Qualifications

  • Medical office, call center and/or customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education/experience.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Computer literacy; Knowledge of Windows and Outlook.
  • Medical office experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Must be able to multitask and shift priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and Interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Lift 25 lbs.
  • Travel required: 0-25% of the time.

Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
