About the Role
Medline’s Post-Acute Care Division delivers high-quality products to providers in the Long-Term Care and Homecare industries. As the primary interface for essential healthcare products and services, Medline partners with customers—including Nursing Home Facilities, Home Health & Hospice Agencies, and HME Providers—to offer a robust product portfolio and patient-centric care solutions. This role is based in the South New Jersey area.
Responsibilities
- Call on the post-acute care market, including long-term care facilities, home health and hospice agencies, and medical equipment providers.
- Sell clinical and operational solutions to decision-makers at all levels, such as owners, senior clinical officers, and purchasing managers.
- Promote products including incontinence supplies, skin care, durable medical equipment (DME), advanced wound care, and gloves.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Medline’s extensive product catalog and value-added programs and services.
- Build and deepen relationships with new and existing customers.
- Prospect and cold call to create new business opportunities.
- Present new products and initiatives, and educate customers on industry trends and regulations.
- Prepare bids and negotiate contracts.
- Take ownership of your territory, growing it like your own business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience with cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales or at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience with cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales.
- Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization.
- Proven track record of identifying, connecting with, and closing new business while building consensus.
- Experience with complex sales strategies to sell solutions across multiple levels.
- Background in commissioned, tangible product sales.
- Demonstrable history of sales growth and quota attainment.
- Ability to present multiple product lines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to drive a car, travel 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on-site.
Pay
This is a fully commissioned position with a first-year guarantee of $100,000 and additional incentive compensation. The role is bonus-eligible, and Medline ensures compensation meets or exceeds applicable minimum wage or salary thresholds.
