Medical Sales Representative (Physician Advisor)

About the role

We're looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and organized field sales representative to maintain and grow existing accounts while developing new referral business with healthcare providers, including PAs and NPs. This role involves "total office calls" targeting referral coordinators, medical assistants, nurses, and other staff.

The majority of your time will be spent visiting physicians’ offices, cultivating new patient referral sources, conducting lunch-and-learns and breakfast meetings, and promoting the company’s brand and value to physician partners, their staff, and industry-specific partners such as Durable Medical Equipment companies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing accounts with healthcare providers
• Develop new referral business through direct engagement with physicians, PAs, NPs, and office staff
• Conduct "total office calls" to build relationships with referral coordinators, medical assistants, nurses, and other key personnel
• Organize and lead lunch-and-learns, breakfasts, and other educational events
• Promote the company’s brand and value proposition to physician partners and industry-specific partners (e.g., Durable Medical Equipment companies)
• Stay current on industry trends and participate in ongoing company training

Requirements

• At least two years of medical sales experience
• Driven, competitive attitude with a proven track record of success
• Existing relationships with PCPs, ENTs, cardiologists, and/or other specialists
• Strong communication skills
• Must reside in the designated market (Greenville, Fayetteville, Wilmington, Southeast NC area)

This is a full-time, exempt position with a work location primarily on the road servicing the Greenville, Fayetteville, Wilmington, and Southeast NC territory.
