Medical Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Monitor activities of study participants
• Handle human biological samples and record data
• Take vital signs
• Perform ECGs
• Perform phlebotomy
• Measure height/weight
• Monitor meals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age

Qualifications

• Post high school education in life sciences or medical training preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• Experience in accurate documentation of data preferred
• Spanish-English bilingual fluency is preferred, but not required

Schedule

• Part-time role works ~24+ hours per week
• Weekend availability is required
• Openings for AM (6:00am-2:30pm), PM (2:00pm-10:30pm), and ON (10:00pm-6:30am) schedules
• Paid training occurs in the initial 6 weeks at the same shift time
• Scheduling during training is full-time
• Once training concludes, the regular work schedule is 24+ hours per week, based on your provided availability
